Improvisation: Emotional Intelligence in Action

Communication issues are often at the root of most conflict. This highly experiential session can be a big first step to improving trust, listening, creativity and team work. We build on the most basic improvisational building block of “Yes, And,” to increase communication and collaboration.

Objectives:

Participants will have an increased awareness of:

• The positive impact of “Yes, And,”
• The negative impact of “Yes, But,”
• How building on colleagues’ ideas can lead to better cooperation and more productive collaboration
• How they naturally relate to themselves and others
• How their personal ability to adapt will serve them in today’s fast moving and changing world

Participants are expected to come away both a little more reflective and upbeat.
